With perfect winter conditions and sunshine, 20 motivated girls went to the elooa GIRLS BALANCE CAMP presented by VOLCOM on the Stubai Glacier last weekend. In addition to the elooa coaches, there was a yoga teacher, a professional photographer and filmmaker as well as the Volcom team riders Lea Baumschlager and Mary Luggen.

After check-in on Friday afternoon, we took the gondola to our accommodation in the ski area. After arriving at our cozy mountain hut, the camp started with an extensive yoga session. This allowed the participants to start the weekend relaxed. At the welcome evening, the participants got to know all the elooa coaches and the Volcom Pros Lea & Mary, who presented their new snowboard film Surreal Snowboarding. With full motivation and well equipped with the latest Nitro Snowboards, we took the first gondola up the glacier on Saturday. After an extensive warm-up and a few runs through the ski area, freestyle basics were first learned before a perfectly shaped Stubai Zoo awaited all participants. Together with the coaches, Lea and Mary, they practiced intensively all day and learned new tricks. In the afternoon we went back to the accommodation and there was a yoga session right away. After a very tasty and healthy dinner, an intensive video coaching awaited all participants as well as a small award ceremony. The camper with the best progression received a Blue Tomato voucher worth €100.00.

On Sunday, the valuable tips from the pros and elooa coaches were immediately implemented and practiced diligently on the mountain. A lot of basics were practiced on the slopes and we went back to the Stubai Zoo to the park. All the girls showed an incredible development and we are proud of all participants. After countless runs and lots of new tricks, an eventful weekend with perfect snow and weather conditions came to an end.
