You’d fancy a splitboard? You’re a beginner curious to find out how splitboarding works and how the board rides? Or you’re already hooked and can’t wait to start into the new season? Then the elooa SPLITBOARD OPENING CAMP is your chance to do that!

This special weekend is the perfect opportunity to start into the splitboard season with professional support, for newbies as well as seasoned riders. Thanks to our unique and snow-reliable location, experienced guides and break down into groups of different levels, all participants will be catered for according to their skills and needs.

If needed, we will supply a full K2 Splitboard setup and a BCA Backcountry Access avalanche safety package that you get to put to the test under professional advice. In addition to that there will be experienced freeride pros and certified snowboard- and mountain guides coaching you. So you won’t only learn how to handle a splitboard and pick adequate tours but also be safe on all our endeavors.

We will meet up on Friday evening at 5:00pm in our exclusive base with sauna and steam bath in the valley. Here we start off with a basic introduction into splitboard equipment for all newbies and a refreshment including gear check for all experienced riders. Following that we’ll set up your K2 Splitboard for the weekend before we head out on our first ascent on Saturday morning. Depending on your own expectations and shape you will have the whole weekend to test your board and explore the mountains with it. In between we’ll also add valuable knowledge on avalanches and other alpine hazards.
