US PARKS ADVENTURE - living the californian dream !

Together with Pleasure Magazine we went for the first time to the westcoast of the USA. The participants could enjoy 14 days with blue skies, perfect shaped slushy snowparks and world famous sights on this special roadtrip. From LA to Bear Mountain, on to Mammoth Mountain, up to Northstar at Lake Tahoe via a short stop in Reno for a casino and finally to San Francisco.

EASTER SPRING CAMP - super Saisonabschluss !

elooa celebrated the last camp of this season at Val Senales glacier in Italy. For the premiere in Italy the Gentleman Riders Nitro Park was in epic conditions. With an easy, medium and pro line the park showed a perfect setup for everyone wether beginner or advanced.

SPLITBOARD EXPLORER CAMP - going further !

For the first time ever an unique mountain adventure was on the programm for the Splitboard Explorer Camp: splitboard tours with overnight stay in expedition tents. Even with -15 degrees fahrenheit during the night we had a good sleep and got rewarded with clear blue skies and fresh faces on the Grünhorn the next morning. Under expert guidance we could climb the peak and it followed one of the best runs of the winter back to our base camp.

SKYLINE PARK CAMP - session with Elias and Steve !

High above the roofs of Innsbruck the elooa crew welcomed some shred-eager campers to the camp in the Nitro Skyline Park. With surprise guest Elias Elhardt the weekend already started on Friday with a night session on the „Nordkette“. The campers did not only receive useful tips from Germany’s flagship-shredder, but could also enjoy the unique and lit-up skyline of Innsbruck.

elooa SPLITBOARD BASE CAMP - a mountain adventure !

Dreamlike wide open fields with fresh snow were there for enjoyfull lines through the backcountry. Even a nice jump could be hit with the K2 Panoramic Splitboards on the long way down into the valley. Happy faces recapped the instructive plus adventurous weekend and were sure to say: „Servus and see you again next time!“

SURSELVA PARK CAMP - a successful premiere !

Last weekend elooa celebrated it’s successful premiere in Switzerland at the Surselva Park Camp in Brigels. With nice blue bird the elooa campers progressed their skills on every obstacle. In the evening a crackling fire place, comfy couches, an oversized TV and a Playstation with all kind of snowboard-games invited the campers for chill-out. At 10pm the own club of the lodge opened its doors and made the campers shake their hips. On Sunday the crew started the day with some funny highspeed top-to-bottom races. Afterwards the freestyle newbies jumped kickers with 8 meter table, thanks to the coaching of the elooa crew and the day ended with an exclusive elooa-only airbag-session.

SPLITBOARD BASICS CAMP - a great introduction !

elooa started with the first of three splitboard camps in Oberstaufen in the Allgäu region into 2013. The elooa Splitboard Basics Camp was adressed to all interested snowboarders, which always wanted to try out a splitboard. The Hochgrat area offered all newbies the best conditions with fresh pow to tackle their first light ascents and descents in wide fresh powder fields under expert guidance. Equipped with the newest splitboards and avalanche safety gear from K2 Snowboarding, the participants were coached by experienced freeride pros and guided by a certified mountain guide.

HOME SWEET HOME CAMP - just awesome !

There is no place like home! And even more when there is fresh pow waiting! True to the motto „Home Sweet Home“, Germany’s best shredder Elias Elhardt welcomed 24 participants to the first elooa Camp in 2013 at his homespot, the Allgaeu. This way the successfull weekend turned into an unforgettable experience for all participants.

SEASON OPENING CAMP - perfect start into the new season!

Last weekend elooa started with the first of five freestyle-camps at the Kitzsteinhorn into the winter season 2012/13. With fresh snow and the sun shining, the perfect shaped Glacier Park offered perfect conditions for the freestyle-newbies as well as the pros of the future to experience a snowboard-weekend filled with fun and to improve their individual skills. Top motivated and equipped with brand new test material from Nitro the campers started into the elooa Winter, not even temperatures from -21° C could spoil the party.

Maldives Surf Adventure - a dreamlike Surfing experience!

Crystal clear water, tropical ambience, exclusive boat-lifestyle, perfect waves and happy faces every day! That´s how you can summarize the first ever elooa Surf Adventure to the Maldives. The unforgettable boat-trip happened with fabulous conditions in the North- and South-Malé Atoll. Every day was celebrated with three extensive surf sessions until the muscles almost cramped. The daily rhythm constisting of Surfing-Eating-Sleeping was just interrupted by occasional deep sea fishing and reef diving in the fish rich waters and crowned with the mandatory sunset beer. Thanks to our experienced crew and the attendance of a professional photographer, every participant could score amazing waves and get home with fantastic photos as an unforgettable souvenir. Keep on dreaming until next years Maldives adventure!

elooa Surf Camp France - with sun & waves flatrate!

After weeks of rain at the Atlantic Coast and even snowfalls in the Pyrenees the weather showed best conditions for the first elooa Surf Camp. With perfect waves and sunshine with temperatures over 30 degress the beginners had daily surf lessons and the advanced surfers numerous sessions per day. Everyone was stoked and a relaxed and cozy atmosphere was determined to the daily programm. The adjoining bungalows were perfect for BBQs and sunset beers at the end of each day. Trips to various surf spots, to spain for skateboarding and hossegors outlets for shopping made this camp to an unforgettable vacation and the surf world richer with new enthusiasts.

elooa goes Surfing – Summer can come!

After five Snowboard Freestyle Camps, one Japan Powder Adventure and one Splitboard Camp the first elooa winter season is over. If you think you have to wait until fall for the next camp, you are wrong! elooa goes surfing!

Already end of may we bring all those ,who always wanted to learn surfing, into the water. At the elooa Surf Camp at the Atlantic Coast of France you have the chance! For advanced surfers we have a highlight in july: a surf adventure to the maldives. The two weeks boat-trip guarantees perfect waves, fun, action and lots of adventure. And this is still not enough, because we extend summer and head to Portugal end of september for another elooa Surf Camp.

elooa Splitboard Camp - Powder in spring!

With epic spring weather and perfect conditions, the elooa Splitboard Camp celebrated its premier in Kleinwalsertal. After an introduction in splitboarding with the K2 Big Mountain rider Chris Schnabel, the adventure could begin. During the two-hour climb to the mountain hut, the participants could get familiar with the K2 Panoramic Splitboard, enjoy the sunset and look forward to the delicious dinner. The next day started with a practical introduction into the handling and searching with an avalanche transceiver under blue skies. After that, the mountain guides ascended the group save to the first summit and enabled them a fresh and untracked powder run. With big smiles and full of new energy the lunch was postponed and the next summit was climbed. In the afternoon everybody returned exhausted but super stoked to the hut. The day ended with a keynote about alpine avalanche safety and hazards in a laid-back atmosphere. On the final sunday the third summit was climbed with the splitboards which offered a breath taking panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps and a long run down in spring-like conditions with numerous edges and wind-lips for all the freestyle enthusiasts. An eventful weekend came to an end and thanks to all involved, the first elooa Splitboard camp was a great success and we already look forward to a continuation next season.

elooa Camp5 - Spring Session above Innsbruck

Dreamlike sunshine and spring temperatures pleased the participants at the elooa Camp in Innsbruck´s Nordkette. A perfect shaped Nitro Skyline Park including kickers and rails, as well as a superpipe and an amazing panorama made the weekend just perfect. The participants could work on their individual riding skills in ideal conditions and push their tricks to the next level. From first ever straight airs over a roller, to boardslides an a downbox and even 540°s over a real parkjump, everything was sent down. At the videocoaching in the evening they received tips from the fresh crowned austrian vice champion in the halfpipe, Manuel Bernert. As a highlight for sunday, nobody else than snowboard pro Ethan Morgan was there to make countless runs with the campers. With smiling and suntanned faces, but also heavy legs ,the participants made their way home and were already looking forward to meet the elooa crew again. Maybe even soon at one of the upcoming elooa surfcamps!

elooa Splitboard Camp – the individual backcountry adventure!

After the launch of elooa Freestyle Camps and elooa Adventures, there will be already this season an elooa Splitboard Camp added to the program. From March 23rd until 25th 2012, all splitboarding basics will be professionaly instructed in the region of Kleinwaslertal. Besides the handling and climbing with a splitboard, all avalanche security basics and the evaluation of alpine dangers will be instructed. Fantastic untouched powder fields, endless emerging runs, epic mountain panorama and cozy evenings in a rustic mountain hut guarantee an ultimate adventure. Two certified mountain guides and the elooa crew are going to teach the 12 participants all weekend long on their individual splitboarding and riding skills. For all those who always wanted to test a splitboard and already snowboard save in powder, this is the right thing to do. Thanks to K2 Snowboards all campers will be fully equipped and need only to bring their snowboard clothing, boots and a backpack. An adventurous backcountry weekend is waiting for all those who book fast one of the limited spots!

elooa Japan Adventure - an unforgettable highlight!

The first ever elooa Adventure brought the participants on an unforgettable journey to Japan. During two weeks the world famous Hokkaido Powder and endless runs through the open japanese woods were the main focus. But also fantastic insights into the unique japanese culture with it´s Mega-Cities, culinary delights, Onsen-bathculture and outstanding hospitality were on the trip programm.

elooa Camp4 - back to the roots in Allgäu!

The 4th edition of elooa Camps happened last weekend in Grasgehren in the bavarian region Allgäu. Already during the 80´s, when snowboarding was still a fringe sport and forbidden in most resorts, Grasgehren already welcomed snowboarders by heart. As a matter of course, elooa had to go back to this roots and pic this resort as a camp location. The cozy „Grasgehren Hütte“ was the perfect accomodation to get with only one quick lift ride directly up to the snowpark. All super motivated campers enjoyed multiple runs surrounded by good music and friendly locals. The whole first day was filming and with this footage everyone went back to the hut for dinner and a „XXL video coaching“ with Elias Elhardt and the elooa crew. The final „sunday funday“ included riding with Elias in 10cm of fresh pow and in a fresh shaped snowpark. So all the shredders improved their skills, where amazed by the riding of a pro and had tons of fun. Thanks to the professional filmer and photographer, even everyone got his riding secured in pixels as well.

elooa Camp3 - with deep powder into 2012

elooa starts with perfect conditions in Garmisch-Partenkirchen into the year 2012. Only the fresh shaped Terrainpark Zugspitze got covered by snow during a big snowfall just before the weekend, so the  elooa Camp had to move over to Hausberg. The lesson for the morning was riding fresh pow! Snowboarding legend and Garmisch local Xaver Hoffman showed the campers the best powder runs in his homeresort. After this warmup the misson for the afternoon was to build jumps and get some airtime with powder landing, so the motivated snowboarders could learn a a lot about the backcountry as well as freestyle tricks. Wet and tired but super stoked everyone went to the Lodge for burgers and the videocaoching. On sunday Xaver showed us another "secret spot" near Kreuzeck where we built the first ever elooa funpark by ourself. In a 4 obstacle run with jumps, hips and jibs all the campers were able to practice new tricks and improve their individual skills thanks to the pro coaching. By noon the sun came out on time and a real backcountry jump was ready for the video- and photoshooting. The elooa camp was over in the late afternoon and everybody left Garmisch with a big smile and tired legs.

elooa Adventures - ready for boarding!

elooa Adventures starts into the year 2012 with a real highlight and brings you into the deep snow-covered mountains of Japan! You have the chance to ride a maximum of epic powder runs through the world-famous Hokkaido powder, as well as getting an unique insight into the japanese culture from february 10th until 24th. This exclusive adventure is open for booking to all powder junkies who want to experience something extraordinary, if not the „Trip of your Life“!

Second elooa Camp - a real success in the Stubai Zoo!

The second elooa Camp took place on Stubai Glacier from 2nd until 4th of december 2011. Despite the feared onset of winter, the sun was surprisingly out and let the fresh and perfect shaped Stubai Zoo shine. The 20 participants were able to hone on their riding skills together with Snowboard-Pro Elias Elhardt and Headcoach Friedl May, as well as the Ex-Pros Jens Anselstetter and Heinz Löhle, in near perfect conditions. A closer look at their tricks was taken at the video analysis in the evening. Through the helpful tips from the pros they could also improve their individual style. The results were amazing and the participants could stick their first boardslides and even 540s on the last sunny day. All this was rewarded with a professional photoshoot, like the pros do. To celebrate the great atmosphere within the group once again, there was another highlight for farewell: besides a great stuffed goodie-bag, every camper received a free ticket to the Relentless BigAir in Stuttgart to follow Elias and support him loudly.

Awesome premiere - First elooa Camp in Hintertux!

Bluebird over Zillertal valley, a perfect shaped snowpark on Hintertux Glacier, as well as the cozy atmosphere in Gasthof Hochsteg were the ideal ingredients for the first ever elooa Camp. Videocoaching in the evening, photoshoting in the park and shredding with the elooa team around the pros Elias Elhardt and Marco Smolla were on the program for each participant. Furthermore everyone had the chance to test brand new Nitro snowboard gear.

Thanks to everybody involved and the support from the partners, the first elooa camp was an unique experience for everyone and we can ́t wait for the next camp in the Moreboards Stubai Zoo from december 2nd until december 4th 2011.

„Nitro presents elooa“ @ Moreboards Stubai Premiere 2011

Together with his boardsponsor Nitro Snowboards, Elias Elhardt proudly presented elooa camps at the Moreboards Stubai Opening 2011. All visitors had the chance to sign in for a session with Elias Elhardt at the elooa booth in the brandsaloon. A huge number of participants registrated, but only ten snowboarders had the pleasure to join this unique snowboard expierience. Equiped with brand new TSG helmets, all winners left the booth for a short version of elooa camps with Elias and our certifed headcoach Friedl May. After a professionally instructed warm up session, everybody had the chance to win during a little basic trick competition a Nitro Raiden Binding, a Nitro backpack and a elooa camp as the main price. Aljosa Kopina won the Session and will met Elias and the elooa crew again at the Camp in the Moreboards Stubai Zoo from December 2nd till December 4th 2011.
